Once upon a time, you traded in your eye pencil for permanent make-up. Or you opted for permanent make-up because manual make-up was not for you. Satisfied with the treatment and the result, you still look in the mirror every day. But a few years later, you notice that the line around your eyes or lips has faded. A shame. Touching up permanent make-up on time prevents this. Here are three reasons why you can be sure you are ready for a touch-up.
You were beaming after your first permanent make-up treatment. Compliments came pouring in left and right without anyone really being able to name what was different now. Exactly the effect that permanent make-up has. It retouches your face and makes you the best version of yourself, without being noticeable.
But over the years, the permanent make-up around your eyebrows or lips fades more and more. The sun, cell turnover and the ageing process detract from the colour pigmented around your lips or eyebrows. Making yourself up does not give the desired effect. Asymmetrical eyebrows, a too dark line around your lips and shot eyeliner: it’s all just not there. Time to touch up the permanent make-up again.

Time doesn’t stand still and neither does your face. Are you heading towards menopause or in the middle of it? Then your face will be affected. Your face changes. That sometimes takes some getting used to. Understandably so. Hormone changes cause your skin to lighten and you have less hair growth. As a result, your eyebrows, for example, become shorter.
While touching up the permanent make-up, we can immediately take a closer look at recent changes in your face. If your lips have become thinner or less coloured, we will touch them up. Short eyebrows can be lengthened. And if your lashes have become shorter and thinner, enhance them with a lashiner: a thin variant of eyeliner that makes your lashes look fuller.

You always want to feel your best, even on warmer days in summer. Preferably without your eyeliner running after a dip in the North Sea. Or worrying about whether your highlighted eyebrows will stay in place during a beach day. So have your permanent make-up touched up on time. No need to draw anything yourself. Because you can only enjoy your holiday, weekend break or day in the sauna to the full if you walk around with confidence.
