Every skin is different and yet permanent make-up, or PMU, is suitable for all skin types. In my practice, different types of people come in wanting PMU but also have different skin types. The wishes clients come to Permanent Beautiful with vary from eyebrow or eyeliner to lips, from scar colouring to nipple tattooing. For a good, lasting and beautiful result, I carefully analyse the skin beforehand. Among other things, I look at the skin’ s own colour and texture to determine what type of skin it is. I adjust the colours and shades I choose to apply PMU accordingly. And that is why permanent make-up is suitable for all skin types. You can trust me to find the right colours – pigments that suit you well, including your home colour.
The technique also plays a role in treating different skin types. I use wafer-thin needles and apply the pigments just below the skin surface. This is different from a ‘regular’ tattoo, where pigments are applied in deeper skin layers. Uv and cell renewal therefore affect the durability of PMU, usually PMU on an eyebrow, for example, lasts about 2 years.
First of all, the colours I choose for eyebrows, for example, must match your face. Your look remains yours. No matter your skin colour or skin type, I take that into account.
Secondly, I pay attention to the texture of the skin. With a dark skin type, the texture is different. White skin is often a bit soft and spongy, while dark skin is firmer and more compact. So you understand that I also adapt the techniques to your skin.
And thirdly, every PMU treatment is different, because every man or woman is different. Everyone is unique! Are you under 40? Then the skin is firmer and I might choose a fuller eyebrow than if you are over 50. I then take extra care to give the eyebrow an appropriate length to suit your appearance.
You are treated personally in my practice to get a natural-looking result. PMU is not a standard formula!
