You see full, thick and especially dark or bushy eyebrows on the streets these days. Very nice, those fashion trends! But those full eyebrows often pass by my practice. Permanent make-up is certainly suitable for eyebrows. But I am reluctant to set an eyebrow so full and thick.

Because what do you do when the trend is over?

Then how do you get your old eyebrow back if you did have permanent make-up done for thick eyebrows? That will be a drastic job. And it remains to be seen whether you can properly restore your eyebrows to how they once were. Trends in fashion and clothes, you can easily change that if you want, but trends in permanent make-up and eyebrows is much trickier.

As always, practice, practice, practice. Before you start drawing your eyebrows, sit or stand carefully and look at yourself in the mirror. What shape is your face? What do you see about your eyebrow and the colour of the hairs?

Very thick full eyebrows that suit the young woman I don’t like to draw on her mother’s either. Then I advise you to just apply the eyebrows with a brush and powder, or a good eyebrow pencil. That eyebrow is easy to take off in the evening. Changing fashion trends is then a lot easier and you avoid misery in the future.

As you get older, you see hair growth diminish, your eyebrows become thinner, shorter or irregular in shape. This is when permanent make-up can be a good solution. Time is ticking, you need reading glasses and a magnifying mirror. Then see how easy it is to draw an eyebrow symmetrically….
