Reimbursement in the Netherlands

For Dutch clients, reimbursement depends on the situation.

Have you been referred via the ETZ? If so, the areola tattoo will be fully reimbursed by the ETZ and your health insurance.

Are you coming via another hospital, a plastic surgeon or on your own initiative? In that case, reimbursement varies depending on your health insurer and the specific medical treatment pathway. Always check whether your treatment is covered under the hospital treatment pathway, supplementary insurance or requires authorisation.
