Extra attention for women (rights) is badly needed, the theme appeals to me: The differences and similarities between women from the Netherlands but from different cultures. In short, we often talk about health and being healthy. In the 2022 blog, I wrote about the changing times and the militancy of women, also important, it keeps me busy. But we also sometimes forget to take a good look in the mirror, i.e. the outside.
When you barely have eyebrows left, you can catch people off guard. You look sick, angry, disinterested, much older… How you look is what you are regularly judged on. ‘It’s not about how you look, it’s about who you are on the inside.’ I can hear you thinking it. Yet research shows that first impressions count. There is also often talk of a better job, better paid job with a ‘good package’.
Suppose you have a super nice gift for your loved one and you wrap it in a dowdy paper, it looks different from when you give it just as nice wrapping as its contents. The feeling with the pretty paper is different from the sleazy one. Even after unwrapping, the gift feels different….
You take care of that packaging for yourself. You take care of your total well-being. Your inner and outer. Only then can you shine. And permanent make-up can then make life a lot easier.
